TeleChem makes strong Inc 500 move in 2003.
Sunnyvale, CA, October 27, 2003 – On October 15th, Inc. Magazine announced that TeleChem International, Inc. was once again chosen as one of the top 500 fastest growing private companies in America. TeleChem’s position on the Inc. 500 list advanced from 457 in 2002 to 248 in 2003, representing an impressive gain of 209 positions during the past year. This year’s Inc. 500 list is the 22nd annual ranking of the fastest-growing companies in America, and more than 20,000 prospective businesses were contacted before the top 500 were chosen. TeleChem is the only Life Sciences company in the United States to make the list in 2003. The company continues to excel in a highly competitive marketplace by innovating and by providing superior technology and services to the academic, biotechnology, industrial, and medical diagnostics communities. TeleChem International, Inc. organizes its business activities into Life Sciences (ArrayIt®), Chemicals, and Diagnostics (NGS-ArrayIt, Inc.) divisions. The company achieved 697% growth in the stringent 5-year analysis period.
René Schena, CEO of TeleChem International, Inc. expands her comments in the Inc. 500 feature article. "In 1996, our Executive Vice-President, Todd Martinsky, suggested we expand into the Life Sciences market. At that time, chemical import and export was our primary business focus, but we embraced the expansion efforts. During the past six years, we have developed the ArrayIt® brand name with more than 250 innovative products. We have 150 more currently in the product pipeline. I attribute our success to sound fiscal management, technological innovation, aggressive marketing, and teamwork. We have sensational talent at every level in the company, and to have moved up the Inc. 500 list as quickly as we have validates our approach. I have every expectation that 2004 will see the same continuing success."
