Tools for understanding the interaction of biomolecules...Arrayit microarrays enable the miniaturized, mutiplexed and parallel testing of many proteins and peptides in a single assay.  Unlike bead formats which suffer from steric hinderence between beads, cross reactivity and poor shelf life, biomolecules printed into microararys can only react with the solutions that are applied to them, provide specific binding and have a extremely long shelf life. Capture biomolecules are spotted and stabilized onto a glass substrate in sub-nanoliter volumes and can be run in a 96 well format using standad ELISA automation and scanned on a standard microarray scanner. These capture biomolecules on the microaray can be peptides, proteins, antibodies, or carbohydrates and are used to bind to biomolecules present in solution applied to the microarray. Detection and quantification is done with fluorescence, colorimetric and chemiluminescent methods, with fluorescence being the most popluar due to it’s superior sensitivty and quantitative performance. Peptide and protein microarrays offer many applications such as miniaturizing and multiplexing existing ELISA assays, the detection of infections, study of autoimmune diseases, epitope mapping, simultaneous profiling of proteins, biomarker discovery and more.

Why Our Microarray Platform is Useful to you...

The miniaturization, multiplexing and parallelism our platform empowers you to dramatically increase the number of assays or tests you can run on very low amounts of plasma, serum, cell culture media, protein extracts, and other sample types. Our platform can exponentially increase assay sensitivity, testing throughput and lower cost through miniaturization.

Arrayit sets the standard in the microarray industry with ArrayIt® Brand Protein Microarrays. Please review our product list below, and click on a product for protocols and pricing. Click here for scientific publications using Arrayit protein microarrays.

PlasmaScan Antibody Microarrays

The only microarray on the market containing a library of monoclonal antibodies raised against native human plasma proteins. Native human proteins guarantee proper folding and native post-translation modification to ensure high antibody binding affinity and specificity. Use Arrayit PlasmaScan 80 to explore the human plasma proteome with unprecedented precision. Identify new biomarkers in human disease samples.

Protein Microarrays

Arrayit Services empowers the production and analysis of a any protein microarray including proteome microarrays. Proteins are printed into microarrays using our high-speed robotics onto any surface of interest depending on the application and detection method. The printed proteins react with proteins, antibodies, drugs and receptors in solution that are incubated to the microarray. These protein microarrays are compatible with any microarray detection technique including standard fluorescence, SPR, chemiluminescence, colorimetric, RLS, mass spec and others.

Tissue Microarrays

The AccuMax™ Microarray is a slide containing various types of small tissues. The diameter of each spot on the slide ranges from 0.6 to 2.0 mm and the sections number tens to several hundreds. Each tissue section is extracted from various donor blocks and transferred into a ready-made recipient block. The donor blocks are generally conventional, formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded blocks but can also be different types, such as non-formalin-fixed, frozen types.

Transcription Factors

Microarray transcription factor profiling systems enable researchers to rapidly identify transcription factors that drive biological responses. They employ a powerful multiplexed approach for simultaneously measuring the binding of different transcription factors to their unique regulatory DNA elements.
